‘kay, so it’s been a little while… Life pulled me in a bunch of different directions over the past few weeks. It was quite the ride. I’ll try to sum it up without making this the longest blog post ever.
In my previous post, I mentioned that I did not have strep, and that I had something viral (likely the flu) that I needed to get over. When I was at the doctor, they did two types of throat cultures - a “rapid strep test” and another version that takes a little longer to come back. Evidently the rapid strep test is less accurate, but on the side of false positives - basically, if it comes back negative, you’re all set. Or so they say. Read more
